SARE Cucumber Trial Field Day at New Ground Farm

Join us for an in-depth discussion on the preliminary findings of our SARE cucumber trial. You will see six varieties of cucumbers growing on two different trellis types and hear from the growers about their experiences with the system.
CFSA staff will cover issues of soil health, organics, proper trellising, planting, and harvest techniques, and Kaitlin Campbell will discuss cucumber pests and beneficial insects. There will be a brief tour of New Ground Farm.
