Organic farmers work hard every day to grow healthy food for their communities — now they need your support.

With a gift to Organic Farmers Association, you tell USDA and Congress that organic farmers are an important solution to climate change, food security, and wellness.  Help us meet our goal of $20,000 by December 31 to elevate their voices!  Organic farmers deserve to be heard.

Your donation will help us change organic policy, build strong networks, and train farmers in policy action to ensure organic farmers have a strong voice in Washington, D.C.

Donations above $25 include a one-year membership to the Organic Farmers Association.

Organic Farmers Association (OFA) is a tax-exempt 501(c)(5) nonprofit agricultural organization. Donations to OFA may be used for lobbying activities and thus do not qualify for charitable gift tax deduction. Any portion of your membership dues used towards lobbying or political activities is not tax-deductible as a business expense. We estimate that the portion of dues used towards lobbying or political activities is 5% for the current year.

If you would like to make a charitable gift that is tax-deductible to OFA, you may send a donation to OFA through our fiscal sponsor, Rodale Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.  Your donation to OFA will be designated in a restricted fund and used for OFA educational work in accordance with Rodale Institute’s charitable mission. Charitable donations are accepted by check only.  Checks must be made out to “Rodale Institute”, and please write “Organic Farmers Association” in the Memo Line of the check.  Please mail the contribution to:  Organic Farmers Association, PO Box 709, Spirit Lake, IA 51360.
