DESCRIPTION:Join CFSA for a tour and exploration of the Country Farm & Home warehouse and inventory\, led by owner Melinda Fitzgerald. We will discuss amendments\, pest control products\, tools\, tarps/row covers/fabrics\, irrigation components\, and anything else we find on the shelves. We will also discuss cover crops\, strawberries\, potatoes\, alliums\, sweet potatoes\, and other items available at Country Farm & Home. After a lunch break\, we travel just down the road to the Central Carolina Community College Student Organic Farm\, where Farm Manager Farrell Moose will give us a tour and presentation on amending soils based on your soil test results. Lunch will not be provided. Pack a lunch or check out the spots in Pittsboro.
