We need to grow support for more organic farms in this country to grow beyond the 1% of certified organic U.S. farmland.

The Organic Farmers Association is a 501(c)(5) nonprofit agricultural organization. Donations to OFA may be used for lobbying activities and do not qualify for a charitable gift tax deduction.

If you would like your donation to qualify for a charitable gift tax deduction, you may do so by sending a donation to OFA through our fiscal sponsor, Rodale Institute, a 501(c)(3)charitable nonprofit.  Your donation to OFA will be designated in a restricted fund to be used for OFA education work in line with Rodale Institute’s charitable mission.  Charitable donations are accepted by check, only.  Checks must be made out to “Rodale Institute”, and please write “Organic Farmers Association” in the Memo Line of the check.  Please mail the contribution to:  Organic Farmers Association, PO Box 709, Spirit Lake, IA 51360.

About the Organic Farmers Association

In 2016 farmers from across the country came together to launch the Organic Farmers Association (OFA) to unite organic farmers for a better future together. In 2020, OFA gained its 501c5 nonprofit status.  Rodale Institute supports this initiative as fiscal sponsor and partner with OFA’s farmer leadership.
