Organic Fruit Production-Midsummer Monitoring

As fruit reaches maturity, there are many activities the organic orchardist can do to make the upcoming harvest season result in high-quality fruit. Monitoring for insects and diseases and being prepared to manage these through beneficial insects, trapping, and organic-approved materials will be discussed. Strategies for tree health so they remain productive into the future through physical supports, nutrition, and diverse ecosystems will be considered.
