Soil Smarts: Testing, Reading, and Amending Organically

September 3 @ 11:30 am - 3:00 pm EDT
Free

How well do you know your soil? Join the NOFA/Mass Technical Assistance team for a hands-on workshop that unpacks and demystifies the Chemical Soil Test, and demonstrates how the test can inform an on-farm soil health plan, or certified Organic Systems Plan (OSP). Whether you’re a beginning grower or an experienced organic farmer (certified or not), this session will help you sharpen your skills and make the most of your soil’s potential.

About the Organic Farmers Association

In 2016 farmers from across the country came together to launch the Organic Farmers Association (OFA) to unite organic farmers for a better future together. In 2020, OFA gained its 501c5 nonprofit status.  Rodale Institute supports this initiative as fiscal sponsor and partner with OFA’s farmer leadership.
