Organic Cover Cropping at Titusville Farm

Titusville Farm was established in 2019 and grows 15 acres of vegetables, 2 acres of cut flowers, 5 acres of heirloom cider apples, and raises 4,000 chickens for eggs. We will visit Titusville farm to learn about their organic cover cropping methods through a farm tour and informative discussion. The tour will focus on the fundamentals of cover cropping including the impacts on soil health, ecosystem services such as soil erosion prevention, nitrogen fixation, etc., and methodologies for selecting, establishing, terminating, and incorporating cover crops.
