Spring 2025 Internship Applications
All internships are open to undergraduate, graduate students, as well as recent grads (within 1 year of graduation) unless otherwise noted. Must be a US resident.
Please review each internship description linked below for full details (including whether it is a remote or hybrid opportunity) and application instructions.
Across all internships, starting pay is $15 per hour for undergraduate interns and $18 for graduate interns, not to exceed a total of $2,250/undergraduate or $2,700/graduate per semester. Interns are not eligible for benefits.

MOSA Podcast Communications Intern
MOSA and Midwest TOPP are seeking a Podcast Communications Intern who has the experience and enthusiasm for developing an agri-culture podcast that celebrates the diverse history, collective heritage, and unique experiences that represent agriculture in each of the 11 states in our region. The Podcast Communications Intern will be responsible for developing a podcast plan; performing research about topics and presenters; creating content including interview questions, episode background, bio, and focus; and if time allows, lead/participate in the interview and production process
Illinois Food Justice Alliance Special Projects Internship
IFJA is seeking a motivated Special Projects intern passionate about racial equity, organic agriculture, and sustainable food systems. The intern will support strategy development, communications, and policy initiatives for our Good Food Purchasing Policy campaign. The role includes strategic collaboration with Illinois organic organizations like The Land Connection and Farmers rising, as well as farmers and other stakeholders to build a more equitable and sustainable food system.
Illinois Food Justice Alliance Research Internship
This position will play an instrumental role in advancing IFJA’s efforts to build a food system that prioritizes racial equity, environmental sustainability, and strengthening local economies, with a special focus on integrating organic agriculture into public food procurement strategies. The Research Intern will be a strategic, creative thinker with a strong aptitude for sourcing and analyzing data to inform IFJA’s programmatic and policy initiatives.
Quality Services Certification Services- Client Care
The Intern will work alongside our Service and Support team to help educate potential clients about the application process for organic certification and the other certification services that QCS provides. They will learn to provide technical and administrative assistance to prospective QCS clients to ensure a positive experience throughout the entire organic certification process. They will keep clients informed of standards updates, changes to certification programs, and opportunities for public comment and will assist in growing QCS client base through sales leads.
Organic Farming Research Foundation Policy & Communications Intern
The intern will support the development of outreach materials related to increasing access to technical and financial assistance for organic and transitioning-to-organic farmers; identify opportunities for farmers and researchers to build community and network with each other; and develop materials to help educate impacted communities about the importance of public investments into organic agriculture research.
Florida Organic Growers Organic Agricultural Data Intern
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in nonprofit operations and agricultural education while contributing to impactful projects. As an intern, you will work on initiatives that directly benefit farmers, consumers, and members of the SE TOPP community. You will also have the chance to create informative resources and communication materials that provide farmers and the public with relevant insights into the benefits of organic foods and farming practices.
Organic Farming Research Foundation - Graduate Research & Education
The R&E Intern will support the development of research and educational materials for organic and transitioning-to-organic farmers; support the development of a new online research hub for organic farmers through identifying peer-reviewed relevant research, cataloging existing resources, and reviewing, organizing, and developing resources and outreach materials; and provide assistance on other research and education program work, such as the Farmer-Led Trials Program, as needed. The R&E Intern reports to the R&E Senior Scientist.
Think Regeneration- Program Support Intern
Think Regeneration is seeking an intern to provide marketing, operational, and administrative support across its programs—which support producers across the country who are interested in or are already using practices such as organic and regenerative. The Program Support Intern will provide support for the team at Think Regeneration on programs such as TOPP Food Is Medicine, Illinois Food Is Medicine, farmer leadership programs, farmer-landowner meetings, and opening regenerative and organic markets for farmers across the country.
