The National Organic Coalition (NOC) is hosting a virtual Spring 2025 Pre-NOSB Meeting on April 28 from 1-3pm ET. This is a virtual, public event!
The Pre-NOSB Meeting takes place in advance of the National Organic Standards Board meeting each spring and fall. This meeting provides a space for information-sharing and dialogue and is open to all organic community members. The meeting will include:

An update about topics under consideration by the National Organic Standards Board at the spring meeting next week (April 29 to May 1) – NOC’s NOSB Specialist Steve Ela will share this update.

A panel of experts on compost feedstocks. The Board will be discussing and voting on a proposal on compost and synthetic feedstocks at the Spring meeting and this panel discussion will help inform the Board’s work on this topic. The Board also has published a discussion document on this topic.
