Understanding Organic Inputs & Supplies

Join CFSA for a tour and exploration of the Country Farm & Home warehouse and inventory, led by owner Melinda Fitzgerald. We will discuss amendments, pest control products, tools, tarps/row covers/fabrics, irrigation components, and anything else we find on the shelves. We will also discuss cover crops, strawberries, potatoes, alliums, sweet potatoes, and other items available at Country Farm & Home. After a lunch break, we travel just down the road to the Central Carolina Community College Student Organic Farm, where Farm Manager Farrell Moose will give us a tour and presentation on amending soils based on your soil test results. Lunch will not be provided. Pack a lunch or check out the spots in Pittsboro.
