Presidential Forum: More Candidates Weigh in on Organic

On Thursday, December 5, 2019 Organic Farmers Association hosted a Presidential Forum on Combating Climate Change with Organic and Regenerative Agriculture, cosponsored by OFA member Iowa Organic Association.  The purpose of the forum was to highlight issues most pressing to Iowa organic farmers ahead of the Iowa caucus on February 3, 2020.

Senator Bernie Sanders attended the forum and spoke one-on-one with Iowa organic farmers.  Over the New Year break, two additional campaigns unable to attend the December 5 Presidential Forum provided written answers to Iowa organic farmers’ questions asked at the forum.
