CCOF is a nonprofit organic certification agency, and advocacy organization that advances organic agriculture in California. Since its inception in 1973 CCOF has certified thousands of organic farms, processors, and businesses and done significant outreach and advocacy for the organic community.

In 2016 farmers from across the country came together to launch the Organic Farmers Association (OFA) to unite organic farmers for a better future together. OFA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
