Farmer-Led Trials Virtual Forum

Every farmer has a question they wish someone could answer. Is this practice worth the cost? Will this approach work on my soil, in my climate, with my markets? With technical support from OFRF, farmers designed and carried out structured trials on their own land, tackling the challenges that matter most to their operations. Now they are ready to share what they learned.
Join us for a one-hour forum to hear from four farmer-researchers:
Kristin Swoszowski-Tran, Ledoux Grange, New Mexico
Kay Bell, Passion Garden, Texas
Amy Lucas, Chestnut Acres, Tennessee
Anthony Reyes, Oxbow Farm, Washington
Each farmer will walk through their farm and production system, research questions, their trial design and methods, and most importantly—what they discovered and what they’d like to try next. You’ll also get a brief look at how on-farm trials can work on your farm: from developing a question to analyzing results. There will also be time for a facilitated Q&A with the presenters.
Whether you are a farmer curious about running your own trial, a researcher or extension professional who supports farmers, or simply interested in practical, farmer-driven science, this forum offers ideas you can take back to your own work.
