GAP Audit Preparation Webinar Series – Part 1: Introduction to Food Safety & GAP Audits

Preparing for your first GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) audit? Join the Carolina Farm Stewardship Association (CFSA) for the first session of a free five-part webinar series designed to help farmers successfully prepare for USDA Harmonized GAP (HGAP) certification.
Part 1 introduces the fundamentals of produce food safety and the GAP audit process. Participants will learn about food safety regulations, common pathogens, on-farm hazards, and the documentation required for a successful audit.
Throughout the series, CFSA’s Local Produce Safety Team will guide participants through each section of the USDA Harmonized GAP Standard, providing practical guidance, real-world examples, and opportunities for discussion and questions.

Foodborne pathogens and common farm hazards
USDA Harmonized GAP (HGAP) certification
